Breaded chicken breast

Presentation

Recipe from my home and beyond, really easy and tasty. This mouth-watering chicken breast is further enriched with super crumbly fried sage leaves. Really a dish for everyone.

Ingredients:

  • 300g of chicken breast
  • 1 egg
  • about ten sage leaves
  • breadcrumbs to taste
  • 30g of butter
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

Preparation:

Preparation of the chicken

1 Cut the chicken breast into slices about half a centimeter thick, 2 then beat the eggs in a separate container 3 and dip the chicken breast slices in the egg.

End of preparation and cooking in the pan

4 After a few minutes, remove the chicken breast slices from the egg and spread them in the breadcrumbs. 5 At this point, melt the butter in a pan, 6 then add the sage leaves and mix them with the butter.

Cooking chicken

7 Place the breaded chicken steaks in the pan and cook over medium heat until the underside is well browned. 8 Meanwhile, add the salt to the meat. 9 When the chicken steaks are well browned, flip them over and finish cooking on the second side as well.

Once ready, serve with the savia leaves and add a little pepper if you want. Enjoy your meal!

Advise

  • If you want a more uniform and chunky breading you can dip the chicken breast in the egg and breadcrumbs twice instead of once.
  • By cutting the chicken breast slices into strips a couple of centimeters wide, this dish becomes an irresistible finger food for an aperitif.
